This luscious and warming Spiced Chia Hot Chocolate nourishes both body & soul. Loaded with goodness, our vegan take on this classic, provides a super dose of antioxidants and omegas to nourish & restore. Think of it as a hug in a mug.
1 tsp chia seeds
1 tsp raw cacao powder
2 cups hazelnut or almond milk
1 tablespoons maple syrup
Pinch of cinnamon
1/2 tsp vanilla paste
Pinch of salt
In small pot, whisk together the cacao powder and milk.
Once mixed, add the maple syrup and continue to whisk until mixture is steaming and hot.
Transfer to blender and add chia seeds, vanilla, cinnamon and sea salt.
Blend for 2—3 cycles until thick and creamy.
Divide the hot chocolate between two large mugs and dust with extra cacao powder.
