Without tipple, not without flavour. In support of dry July, we're mixing up a quenching beverage that will give your taste buds a shake. 

Utilising ingredients that promote healing and vitality, this cocktail recipe hosts the satisfying tension of salty and sweet, adding joyful effervescence to the depth of your winter. A handful of sage leaves anchors the liquid experience, encouraging oral health and nurtures the nervous system. 

And, what's to say, come August, you couldn't add a wee dash of liquor, too...


Ingredients

  • 2 quartered Meyer or regular lemons
  • 1/4 cup fresh sage leaves
  • 1/4 cup Mānuka honey
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt in a pitcher
  • 1.5 cups of soda water

Method

Muddle lemons, sage leaves, manuka honey, and salt in a pitcher.

Just before serving, add soda water and stir to combine.

Divide liquid among four glasses filled with ice.
