Ingredients
- 3 tbsp dried or frozen elderberrie
- 1 cinnamon stick
- Mānuka honey, to taste
- 500ml [2 cups] of water
Method
Place all ingredients [except Mānuka honey] into a pot and bring to a boil, reduce heat to a simmer for 10 to 15 minutes.
Strain into a cup and add honey to taste. Try not to sweeten the brew too much.
Feel free to experiment with flavours — add ginger, orange slices or cardamom to change up the tea each time.
