U Pin - Bronze
Introducing the Bronze U Pin, a collaboration between Sydney based jeweller Alexandra Dodds & Sans [ceuticals].
Functional and timeless, the U Pin was designed to achieve effortless style with minimal fuss. A beautiful piece to be passed down, generation to generation. With age, the patina will soften and become more muted. The look, a matter of personal preference; a simple buff with a cloth will restore its lustre.
Specifically designed to hold any hair type in place be it fine through to thick and unruly hair.
Size: 100mm (h) x 15mm (w)

This hair pin feels and looks solid - I consider it like a piece of jewellery. Doesn't have the curve and is a bit smaller in length and width than other hair pins have. Once secured (this has taken a bit of practice) it holds my shoulder length hair well.

I treated myself with this, and am very pleased I did. It holds well and looks great, even in my fine grey hair!

I had been searching for a shorter, wider pin for a long time. This one holds my fine, thin hair amazingly well and doesn’t look too decorative. Its functional and beautiful- just perfect.

This is a beautiful item, and I can believe the website product description about being able to hand it down to future generations. When it first arrived, it looked a lot more rose gold than I expected and a bit cheap. But now that I’ve had it for a while, it’s developing a nice yellow patina and looks very chic. It took a little practice to learn how to use it but now it’s easy and effortless to grab and go. I like that it stays in place once I’ve plugged it in.
The only downside is that it is a little small, so it doesn’t contain all my hair in all hair styles. I wish there was a longer version.
It also gives me a mild headache depending on the way I put it on, so I find it hard to have it in for an extended period of time. So if you have sensitive scalp like me, maybe have a trial with a cheaper pin before you commit to this one.

I have failed miserably trying to use this 😢 although others have said it works great

I love this arti hair piece, but find it hard to keep in and also because I have a lot of hair, you dont really see it, so am poking it into an elastic and hoping it can be noticed.

I have super slippery fine hair and I was sceptical as to whether this would work. However I think the texture and the flat shape allow it to hold my stubborn hair, even as I walk the trails.
