Ingredients
- 4 tbsp fresh horseradish, chopped
- 2 tbsp turmeric powder
- 1/2 tsp crushed black peppercorns [ to enhance bio-availability of turmeric]
- 1/4 cup fresh garlic, chopped
- 1/4 cup fresh ginger, chopped
- 2 tbsp hot chilli peppers, chopped
- 1 small red onion, chopped
- 4 sprigs fresh rosemary
- Raw unfiltered apple cider vinegar [enough to submerge ingredients]
Method
Chop all of the ingredients and place into a jar.
Pour apple cider vinegar over ingredients until submerged. Leave to macerate for approximately 1 – 2 months in a cool, dark place.
The apple cider vinegar will draw all of the active compounds out from the ingredients (the longer it sits, the more potent it gets!). Once ready, crush and strain through a muslin cloth. Bottle and use.
Mix the master tonic with olive oil for a salad dressing or add a shot to your stir-fry for a zingy, heated hit.
DOSAGE
- For a sore throat, gargle and swallow as needed.
- For colds or flu, take one tablespoon every couple of hours.
- For daily immune support, drink one tablespoon every day.
