KERATRIX TM

A patented complex that increases hair strength and elasticity, and repairs the damage caused by mechanical, thermal and chemical processes. Its sustained-release system allows it to remain on the hair fibre for prolonged action.

VITAMIN B5

Panthenol is an active form of Vitamin B that is formulated in high concentrations. An excellent emollient, it binds to the hair shaft by creating a light, hermetic seal to give lustre, brilliance and shine, while reducing the formation of split ends. It also possesses a small molecule, allowing it to penetrate the hair cuticle to provide strength, resistance and volume.

Tips + Multifunctional Use

[01] HAIR CONDITIONER

Work a cherry-sized dollop through your hair’s mid-lengths and ends to plump, boost and fortify. Leave for 30 seconds to restore, then rinse well. To ensure maximum volume, avoid applying Sans [ceuticals] Hydratant to the root area.

[02] HAIR SMOOTHING SERUM

For unruly hair, work a pea-sized amount through mid-lengths and ends of damp hair to smooth and reduce frizz.

[03] CURL DEFINING STYLE CREAM

To help define curly hair texture and reduce frizz, apply a pea-sized amount to palm of hand and work through mid-lengths and ends of damp hair.

[04] TREATMENT MASQUE

Squeeze excess moisture out of hair then work a cherry-sized dollop through mid-lengths and ends. Clip hair up and leave for 5-10 minutes before rinsing. To boost penetration and infuse key ingredients, wrap hair in a damp, hot towel. Leave for 5-10 minutes, then rinse.

After exhaustive research into the safest preservative systems available today, Sans [ceuticals] chose the following:

Dehydroacetic Acid & Benzyl Alcohol

An Ecocert approved, multi-use, broad spectrum preservative system that is a synergistic blend of organic acid and alcohol. Meets COSMOS standards and is NATRUE Certified—NATRUE is a non-profit organisation that provides certification guaranteeing the ingredient is genuinely natural. NATRUE also guarantees the ingredient is Soil Association approved and not tested on animals.

Trisodium Ethylenediamine Disuccinate

Winner of the UK Green Technology design award, this new generation preservative is fully biodegradable and a new, environmentally friendly alternative on the natural-care market. Scores a ‘low hazard’ 1 out of 10 on EWG's Skin Deep® Cosmetics Database—a US, non-profit, environmental organisation that specialises in research and advocacy in the areas of toxic chemicals.

Rosmarinus Officinalis [Rosemary] Leaf Extract

This powerful herb has superior antioxidant strength, making it a favourite in the preservation of food and cosmetics. Rosemary extract is used to slow microbial growth on food and prevents oxidation of oils in skin care formulations.

Potassium Sorbate

Discovered by the French in the 1850s and derived from the berries of the mountain ash tree, potassium sorbate is the potassium salt of sorbic acid. It is primarily used as a food preservative to inhibit moulds and yeasts in many foods, such as cheese, wine, yogurt, dried meats and apple cider.

[natural fragrance]

Our fragrance [fragrance is a term required by EU regulations] is 100 percent natural and extracted using CO2 supercritical extraction. This is one of the cleanest and purest ways of obtaining extracts and actives from ingredients and eliminates the need for potentially harmful solvents such as hexane, often used in the manufacture of ‘absolute' and 'fragrance oils’. This method also produces a more alive, rich and spirited aroma.
